The Aging Perspective

Fall in Florida, "the art of subtly"

Fall in Florida, "the art of subtly"

Of all the seasons’ fall is the most poetic. Perhaps this is true as we remember fall’s warm color palette, the sounds and smells that inspires time-honored seasonal traditions, or maybe the season just teaches us the importance of letting go of things. For anyone who hasn’t experienced an autumn season it’s hard to explain. Just try describing its vibrant colorful foliage spreading across the landscape, the sound of falling leaves, apple picking season, nighttime hayrides through a cornfield, a Norman Rockwell Indian summer day, and the sharp crisp flowing air that calls out for an extra layer of clothing....

What I Learned and Always knew about "Iowa Nice"

What I Learned and Always knew about "Iowa Nice"

SW Florida may be a popular vacation spot, for many, but every year I  pack my bags and hit the road for my summer vacation. Drawing has become his passion now, and while communicating is difficult; he now lets his art speak for himself. If he sees something that...

A welcome return to the red " Skinny House" A childhood memory

Tucked away and set back on a modest little street called Grand, in Mamaroneck NY, sits this simple little home we’ve always referred to as the skinny red house. Our history and affection for this place began as a childhood memory as our family drove southbound along the I-95 NY Thruway for frequent visits into the city from our home in Stamford Ct. The anticipation was always there and when you looked over across the eastbound lane,...
