Step out and step into your dreams at Le Petit

Nestled in the south corner of Coralwood Mall, you’ll discover a location that Alice might have come across after tumbling down the rabbit hole. It’s a charming spot featuring glass chairs reminiscent of Cinderella's castle, offering the most delightful treats served on whimsical china.

Le Petit, much like Wonderland, is a place where a curious young girl exploring the unknown can encounter surprises in elegant surroundings. That's exactly what I experienced while strolling through the shopping plaza between my exercise classes.

As I entered through the front door, I was taken aback to see Adriana, the owner, sitting beside Julia, a high school student, and a server who resembled Alice. I thought, “I can't believe I’ve never visited this place before… where have I been?” I felt like a child in a candy store, captivated by everything around the shop. Tea cups of various sizes and styles, along with whimsical decorations lining the walls, created an atmosphere as delightful as dining at Palm Court at the Plaza.

I ordered the Petit special, which is quite reasonably priced. It was challenging to focus when my bowl of broccoli soup arrived… In a place like this, attention to detail is essential. Even the spoons catch your eye—thanks to their intricate design, color, and size.

Everything is charmingly petite… yet generous.

I had the most delicious chicken salad on a croissant, accompanied by coffee instead of tea—I’m almost embarrassed to say—but Adriana whipped me up a most delicious cup—Nube, served with cream and caramel. Lastly, my favorite part, the sweetest of all, was the cheesecake with fresh fruit.

It was a difficult choice, but next time I’ll have the Creme Brulee.

If you haven’t visited Le Petit yet, I recommend making it your destination. How often do we have the chance to lose ourselves briefly and indulge in delightful dreams and adventures? And FYI, if there’s something there that catches your eye, speak with the owner. You, too, can take home a treasure and embrace the custom of a Mad Tea Party.
