Meet young Buddy Bettencourt. He is different, unique, and a very clever boy. Buddy is most comfortable in his private world and does not easily engage with others.  Buddy avoids conversation, especially idle chitchat.  And oh, how his lonely mother Nina longs for small talk!

Nina takes us through her story and brings us to that day she and Buddy walk into a laundromat.  Though not a place one expects a life-changing event to occur, on that day they discover the power of rotational magic.  From that day forward, Buddy will never be the same.
